- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
- Stir in crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
- Scoop dough, roll in sugar, and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool on tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack.
Notes
Do not overbake for soft cookies. Freeze dough balls for easy make-ahead baking. White chocolate drizzle is optional for extra sweetness.
