This Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie Bowl is a creamy, fruity, and wholesome twist on a classic dessert. Inspired by sunny mornings in Crete, it blends fresh strawberries, banana, and Greek yogurt into a luscious smoothie base topped with buttery crumble and fresh berries. It’s indulgent yet healthy  perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a refreshing snack that feels like dessert!

Ingredients

For the smoothie base:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1 frozen banana

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 12 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

For the shortcake crumble topping:

  • 3 tbsp crushed graham crackers or shortbread cookies

  • 1 tsp melted coconut oil or butter

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

For the toppings:

  • Fresh sliced strawberries

  • A dollop of Greek yogurt or whipped cream

  • Chia seeds or hemp seeds (optional)

  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the shortcake crumble:
    In a small bowl, mix crushed graham crackers with melted coconut oil and cinnamon until crumbly. Set aside.

  • Blend the smoothie base:
    Add frozen strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, vanilla, and honey to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust milk for desired consistency.

  • Assemble your bowl:
