Ingredients

- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold whole milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- ½ cup sliced strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the cooled vanilla sheet cake into small cubes.
- Spread half of the cake cubes evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer half of the sliced fresh strawberries over the cake.
- Spoon half of the strawberry pie filling evenly on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Fold in the sour cream and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the strawberry layer.
- Repeat the layers with remaining cake cubes, strawberries, pie filling, and pudding mixture.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the final layer.
- Garnish with additional sliced strawberries.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
Notes
