Description

A moist and soft banana bread made with ripe bananas, butter, and warm vanilla flavor. This easy homemade loaf is perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Mix in melted butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and whisk gently.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  7. Fold dry ingredients into banana mixture.
  8. Pour batter into loaf pan.
  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes until golden and set.
  10. Cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness and flavor. Avoid overmixing the batter. Store banana bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
