Description

This Creamy Ground Beef Alfredo is a comforting, family-style pasta dish made with tender ground beef, a rich homemade Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta. It’s easy, satisfying, and perfect for busy weeknights or cozy dinners at home.


Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 400 g pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a wide skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it apart.
  3. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft and translucent.
  4. Stir in the garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  5. Lower the heat and pour in the cream, stirring gently.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese gradually and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using, then serve hot.

Notes

For a smoother sauce, add a splash of pasta water if it becomes too thick. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently with a little cream or milk.
