Ingredients
Scale
- 500 g ground beef
- 400 g pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a wide skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it apart.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until soft and translucent.
- Stir in the garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Lower the heat and pour in the cream, stirring gently.
- Add Parmesan cheese gradually and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated.
- Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using, then serve hot.
Notes
For a smoother sauce, add a splash of pasta water if it becomes too thick. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently with a little cream or milk.
