Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup white sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugars: In a large bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.

  2. Add egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to wet mixture; mix until combined.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips: Gently stir in chocolate chips with a spatula.

  5. Scoop and bake: Scoop 1.5-tablespoon balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden.
