1 cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Cream the butter and sugars: In a large bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to wet mixture; mix until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips: Gently stir in chocolate chips with a spatula.
Scoop and bake: Scoop 1.5-tablespoon balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden.
Cool and serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm!
