- 2 pounds cocktail sausages
- 3 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons flour for rolling
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets.
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out puff pastry.
- Cut pastry into strips wide enough to wrap sausages.
- Cut sausages into bite-size pieces.
- Wrap each sausage with pastry and place seam-side down.
- Whisk egg with water and brush over pastry.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake for 16–18 minutes until golden.
Notes
You can assemble these ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to bake. Reheat leftovers in the oven to keep them crisp. Try different sausages for variety.
