Description
This oven-baked cheesy buffalo chicken dip is creamy, spicy, and comforting. Made with tender shredded chicken, rich cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and plenty of melted cheese, it’s the perfect dish for gatherings, game nights, or cozy evenings at home. Easy to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 225 g cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded chicken gently until well coated.
- Stir in most of the cheddar and mozzarella, reserving some for the top.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth the surface.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less buffalo sauce. This dip can be assembled a day ahead and baked just before serving. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently.
