Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 12 whole Oreo cookies

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.

  • Add eggs and vanilla, beating until smooth.

  • In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.

  • Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  • Scoop 1 tbsp dough, flatten slightly, place an Oreo in the center, then cover with another tablespoon of dough. Seal the edges completely.

  • Arrange on baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

  • Bake 13–15 minutes, until golden brown on edges but soft in center.

  • Cool for 10 minutes on the pan, then transfer to a rack. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • For extra gooey centers, slightly underbake the cookies.

  • Chill the dough for 20 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
