Description

These one-bite pigs in a blanket are warm, buttery, and comforting little snacks that bring everyone together. Perfect for parties, family nights, or quick treats, they bake golden and disappear fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package mini sausages (about 400 g)
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent dough
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the mini sausages into small one-bite pieces.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into small strips.
  4. Wrap each sausage piece with dough and place seam-side down on the tray.
  5. Whisk the egg with water and brush over each piece.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

You can use puff pastry instead of crescent dough for a flakier bite. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best texture.
