- 900 g beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 750 ml beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a heavy pot and brown the beef in batches.
- Remove beef and cook onions slowly until soft and golden.
- Add garlic and paprika and stir gently.
- Mix in tomato paste and let it deepen in color.
- Return beef to the pot and add broth and bay leaf.
- Simmer gently for 2 hours until tender.
