Description

This old-fashioned beef goulash is a rich, slow-cooked stew made with tender beef, sweet onions, paprika, and deep comforting flavors. It is a timeless recipe that warms the heart and fills the home with love.


Ingredients

  • 900 g beef chuck, cut into cubes
  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 750 ml beef broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a heavy pot and brown the beef in batches.
  2. Remove beef and cook onions slowly until soft and golden.
  3. Add garlic and paprika and stir gently.
  4. Mix in tomato paste and let it deepen in color.
  5. Return beef to the pot and add broth and bay leaf.
  6. Simmer gently for 2 hours until tender.
