- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt white chocolate and butter together over low heat until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs.
- In another bowl sift together flour and matcha powder.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the batter until smooth.
- In a separate bowl mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until creamy.
- Pour matcha brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Spoon cream cheese mixture on top in small dollops.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the cream cheese through the batter.
- Bake for 20–24 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
