Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl whisk together mochiko, matcha powder, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Whisk until the batter becomes smooth and glossy.
- Fold in white chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until the center is set.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Use high-quality matcha powder for the best flavor and vibrant color. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting to allow the chewy mochi texture to develop. Store in an airtight container for several days.
