- 24 mini sausages or cocktail hot dogs
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- Pinch of salt
- Optional sesame or poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray.
- Unroll crescent dough and cut into strips.
- Wrap each sausage with dough, seam side down.
- Brush with melted butter and egg wash.
- Sprinkle with seeds if using.
- Bake for 16–18 minutes until golden and crisp.
Notes
Use puff pastry for extra flakiness. These can be assembled ahead and baked fresh. Reheat in the oven to keep them crisp.
