Description

This creamy buffalo chicken dip with shredded chicken is rich, comforting, and perfect for sharing. Made with tender chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and melted cheese, it bakes into a bubbly, crowd-pleasing appetizer everyone loves.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and buffalo sauce until smooth.
  3. Fold in shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Stir in most of the cheese, reserving some for the top.
  5. Spread into a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Rest briefly and serve warm.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by adding more or less buffalo sauce. This dip can be prepared a day ahead and baked just before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
