Description

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 400 g canned kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan and brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft and fragrant.
  4. Stir in garlic, chili powder, cumin, and paprika, cooking briefly.
  5. Add diced tomatoes and kidney beans, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until thick and bubbling.
  8. Rest briefly before serving.
