Description

This Chocolate Fondue Breakfast Board is a warm, cozy, and shareable breakfast made with melted chocolate, fresh fruit, and soft breads. Perfect for slow mornings, family gatherings, or special weekends, it turns breakfast into a sweet experience everyone enjoys together.


Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate (60% cocoa), chopped
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 2 croissants, cut into pieces
  • 4 slices bread, lightly toasted
  • 1 cup marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Chop the chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
  2. Set the bowl over gently simmering water and stir until halfway melted.
  3. Add warm cream slowly, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  4. Stir in vanilla and a pinch of sea salt, then remove from heat.
  5. Arrange fruit, bread, croissants, and marshmallows on a large board.
  6. Pour chocolate into a warm bowl and place it at the center.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy together.

Notes

Use good-quality chocolate for best flavor. You can mix dark and milk chocolate for a sweeter taste. Reheat chocolate gently over water if needed. Slice fruit just before serving for freshness.
