Ingredients
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
A pinch of salt
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Instructions
Melt the Butter – In a microwave-safe mug, melt the butter for about 15 seconds, until warm but not bubbling.
Mix Wet Ingredients – Stir in both sugars, salt, vanilla, and the egg yolk until smooth and glossy.
Add Dry Ingredients – Mix in the flour until a soft dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips gently.
Microwave & Enjoy – Microwave for 40–50 seconds, until the cookie looks just set but still soft in the center. Let it cool for a minute before eating.
Notes
Don’t overcook the cookie should stay slightly gooey in the middle for that perfect soft texture.
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle some chocolate syrup on top for extra indulgence.
Substitute chocolate chips with white chocolate, peanut butter chips, or chopped nuts for variety.
