  • Total Time: 4 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • A pinch of salt

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Melt the Butter – In a microwave-safe mug, melt the butter for about 15 seconds, until warm but not bubbling.

  • Mix Wet Ingredients – Stir in both sugars, salt, vanilla, and the egg yolk until smooth and glossy.

  • Add Dry Ingredients – Mix in the flour until a soft dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips gently.

  • Microwave & Enjoy – Microwave for 40–50 seconds, until the cookie looks just set but still soft in the center. Let it cool for a minute before eating.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook  the cookie should stay slightly gooey in the middle for that perfect soft texture.

  • Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle some chocolate syrup on top for extra indulgence.

  • Substitute chocolate chips with white chocolate, peanut butter chips, or chopped nuts for variety.
