Ingredients

  • 1 kg ground beef
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (400 g)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and cook until soft and lightly golden.
  3. Add garlic and stir until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef and break it apart, cooking until browned.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  6. Add crushed tomatoes and water.
  7. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving or storing.
