Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 8 breakfast sausages
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Pinch of black pepper or garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly brown breakfast sausages in a skillet and let cool slightly.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place one sausage at the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle with cheese if using.
  5. Roll dough gently around sausage and place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  6. Brush with melted butter and season lightly.
