Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
½ cup brown sugar (or granulated sugar)
1 large egg
½ cup chocolate chips (optional but recommended)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg in a bowl until smooth and well combined.
Fold in chocolate chips gently.
Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto the baking sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges turn golden brown.
Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Notes
You can use almond butter or cashew butter as a substitute for peanut butter.
For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top before baking.
